An Atlas Cheetah C jet fighter, now retired from the South African Air Force (SAAF), executes a roll during a flying display in Pretoria. This aircraft, was converted from the French-built Dassault Mirage III by the erstwhile Atlas Aircraft Corporation, now Denel Aeronautics. The C-model has improved systems and a more powerful Snecma Atar 09K50 engine.
