Grave at Magersfontein of Count Georges de Villebois Mareuil, a French officer who fought as a volunteer on the Boer side during the Anglo-Boer War, 1899 to 1902. He was given the rank of general in the Transvaal forces, and died at Boshof in the Free State before being re-interred at Magersfontein.
