Planting rooibos tea shrubs in winter. Tractor moves ahead of the men doing the planting and ploughs pre-set (width and depth) holes in the soil. The men follow and pop the plant into the hole. Planting in winter, allows the roots to deveop and settle beforethe plant has to use it's energy on leaf development.
