The gravel road to the Tankwa Karoo National Park heads in a North-Westerly direction. Locally this area is known as the Springbokvlakte ( a plain with Springbok antelope ). The course of the Tankwa River, with Karoo Acacia Thorn trees, can be seen on the top left as well as the Roggeveld Mountains. Co-ordinates 32° 32' " South & 20° 16' " East. Elevation = 521 Meters.
