The narrow and steep Suurberg Pass ( Acid Mountain in English ) transverses the Suurberg Mountains and runs from The Addo Elephant Park in a northernly direction to Stonefontein. It was used by early pioneers to travel between the coast to the Karoo town of Cradock. It is considered by many as being one of the most spectacular passes in Africa. 33° 15'" South & 25° 46'" East.
