The northern start of Swartberg Pass winds up, over and down the Swartberg Mountain. A route from Oudsthoorn to Prince Allbert. In places there is only width for one car to pass at a time. Cars going up have right of way. The pass is one of the few remaining gravel mountain passes left in South africa.
