The stone and wire sculptures of artist Andries Botha lie abandoned on a city off-ramp into central Durban. The elephants were ababdoned by the scultor after a political dispute between the ANC and the Inkhata Freedom Party. On this site the last elephant was shot in the Durban area. The artist won a court case against the ANC and the elephants are now being remade.
