Chivasso, Piedmont, Italy - June 17, 2023: Water intake system at the beginning of the Cavour canal, an 83 kilometer canal that originates from the Po river in the Chivasso area (Piedmont) and ends in Lombardy, after having irrigated the rice fields. It was built by the statesman Camillo Benso Count of Cavour, in the 19th century.
