Detail of the Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle or Duomo di Mantova in Mantua, Lombardy, Italy. Built between 15th and 16th century on a previous romanesque church, the Cathedral changed its shape several times during the centuries. Its bell tower is still romanesque. The marble facade was built between 1756 and 1761 by engineer Nicolo Baschiera.
