Sex-linked inheritance using a Chestnut Flanked White male (zz) and Grey female (ZW). In the first generation, CFW females are produced because the male CFW contributes a small "z" to the female "W", making CFW females. All first generation males are split for CFW (Zz). When interbreeding these offspring in the second cross, zW and Zz, it produces 50% CFW and 50% Grey.
