Base leaders greet military and civilian personnel as they arrive at Thule AB via a contracted Douglas DC-8. The DC-8 travels weekly to Thule AB to transport both supplies and personnel. The air base is the military's most northern installation, located 750 miles north of the Arctic Circle.
