A flintlock rifle, Vienna, circa 1720 Slightly swamped and burnished, seven-groove rifled octagonal barrel in mm calibre with dovetailed front sight and folding rear sight made from brass. At the breech a filled brass mark. Hunting-themed and ornamentally chiselled flintlock with set trigger, between the frizzen spring inscribed "A. WIENN". Carved walnut full stock with horn nose and patch-box. The brass furniture with relief in régence style, the butt cap and the openwork side plate with figures of antique warriors.
