Controversial Talbot Boys Statue, Easton, MD - 1


A controversial statue of the `The Talbot Boys` records the names of those from Talbot County who joined the Confederate cause in the American Civil War between 1861 - 1865. The statue stands outside the Tlabout County Courthouse and was erected in 1916 to commemorate 84 Talbot citizens who fought for the Confederacy. Demands have been made to remove the statue.
