Bees are more than just a source of honey, they are essential for the pollination of countless plant species. At the time of writing, bee populations are declining throughout the world. This is bad news not just for farmers, but also consumers as without natural pollination food prices would increase. Not to mention bad news for the plant species that rely on insect pollination for reproduction and fruit and seed production.
