The Duke of York competing in the men's doubles at the 1926 Wimbledon Championships. The Duke of York, the future King George VI (1895-1952), partnered with his mentor and advisor Louis Greig (1880-1953), the pair were eliminated in the first round by former champions Herbert Roper Barrett (1873-1943) and Arthur Gore (1868-1928).
