A memorial to Daniel Solander on the site of the Swedish Church graveyard in East London where he was originally buried.

A gravelled part of Swedenborg Gardens in Tower Hamlets marks the original graveyard of the Swedish church that stood in the square (then called Prince's Square). The church closed in 1910 and was demolished in 1921. Various trees have been marked with the details of notable people who were buried there. One of these is the botanist Daniel Solander who died in 1782. His remains were removed to the Swedish section of Brookwood Cemetery in Woking in 1913.
