Judas Iscariot picks up his 30 pieces of silver in the 2007 Easter Play in West Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh.

This is the third year that the Easter Play has been performed in Edinburgh's Princes Street Gardens. The play tells the life of Jesus from the time he spent near the Sea of Galilee to his eventual trial, crucifixion and resurrection in Jerusalem. The performance is staged by a group of volunteers and is supported by churches and organisations across Edinburgh. In this scene, Judas Iscariot can be seen picking up the 30 pieces of silver he has been thrown by Caiaphas in return for betraying Jesus (Matthew 27:1-4). Caiaphas is played by Philip L Whitehead and Judas by David McBeath.
