In our specimens the vagina was almost invariably situated some distance posterior to the cirrus pouch, and as a result it was impossible to determine whether the vagina was dorsal or ventral to the pouch. In 6 or 7 segments examined, however, the vagina was definitely dorsal to the pouch on one side and \-entral on the other—a character pecuhar to the genus Moniezia. Family HYMEXOLEPIDIDAE, KaiUiet and Henry, 1909 Sub-family , Stiles, 1896 Dilepis cypselina, Neslobinsky, 1911 One fragment with a head, of what is almost certainly this species, was obtained from the intestine of Dendrocitta lencogasier (tree-pie) ; Zoological Gardens, Calcutta.
