Examples of Beaked Yucca plants (Yucca rostrata) at the Santa Fe Botanic Gardens. The plant is native to the south west Texas and Northern Mexico. It is grown in the dry garden area of the botanic garden to reflect its natural habitat. This yucca is a slow growing, tree-like yucca. It is drought tolerant and makes a fine statement plant when cultivated.
