Japan: Two young women at their toilette. Ukiyo-e woodblock print by Torii Kiyohiro (d. 1776), c. 1750s. Torii Kiyohiro, personal name Shichinosuke, was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist fro mthe Torii school. Hailing from Edo, his first known work appeared around 1751, while his last known work was around 1764. His specialisation was in benizuri-e (primitive) prints and bijin-ga (beauty) prints.
