Unesco world heritage site: The Mezquita, Grand or Great Mosque and Cathedral of Cordoba with Roman Bridge on the Guadalquivir river in Andalusia, Spain. The bridge dates from early 1st century BC. On May 1, 2004 it was converted into a pedestrian and cyclist bridge. It has been extensively restored in 2006. To the right on the bridge, a sculpture of St. Raphael can be seen. It's by Bernabé Gómez del Río and was put in place in the mid of the bridge in the 17th century. Between the bridge and the Mezquita the Centro de Recepción de Visitantes, the new visitor's center on the Plaza del Triunfo can be seen.
