Flower of an epiphytic / lithophytic orchid Eria reticosa from the Western Ghats. The entire genus Eria along with the closely related genus Porpax are often referred to as button orchids. This is on account of the small button shaped groups of pseudobulbs which are the only trace of the plant during the dry season when leaves and flowers are not visible.
