These points of difference canbe best studied by experts, and I am con-vinced that the American machines whichwill be exhibited at the shows will prove bytheir assimilation of the better points of eachclass that the move has been a wise one whichdoes not even require success as its far Osmonds and Humbers seem to bethe guides, and it would be impossible to gettwo machines more dissimilar in their char-acteristics. The Humber is the personifica-tion of years of steady development—the Os-mond unique in its successful originality. The first of the 1897 patterns comes in theshape of a tandem designed from It is built by Maison Marie et Cie., of Paris,and looks a likely design for multicycles,which at present lack rigidity badly.
