Swiss Chard with leaf damage caused by House Sparrows. The plants have grown too large for the tunnel of bird netting restricting the natural growth of the Swiss Chard and the leaves have curled up against the netting This has allowed House Sparrows to land on the netting and peck the green growth between the leaf ribs reducing the leaves to skeletons. House Sparrow damge is particularly bad in hot dry summers. Also shows some leaf damage from leaf spot and mangold fly,
