Europe Italy Piedmont Turin Valentino's park La fontana dei 12 Mesi ( (Twelve months fountain) The Fountain of the Twelve Months, work carried out on a project by Carlo Ceppi for the National Exhibition of 1898, inaugurated to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Albertine Statute. It 's consists of a large oval tub, which precipitates a foaming waterfall, surrounded by a balustrade adorned with statues - performed by various artists (including Luigi Contratti, Edoardo Rubino and Cesare Biscarra) - representing the twelve months of 'year and the four seasons. A synthesis of the first hints of flowers and nostalgic rococo style reminiscent of Art Nouveau and the strange arrangement of the tank is due to the slope of the land.
