19 Giant/8ft Cowboy Boots were carefully painted by local artists in 2005, and located around town, to show the history of Wyoming and Cheyenne. 'These Boots are made for Talking' was a joint project of the Cheyenne Depot Museum (Wyoming Transportation Museum) and the Downtown Development Authority. Boots were purchased by civic minded businesses. This boot, entitled 'Journey of the Soul', by artists Vicki McSchooler, was bought by the Hitching Post Inn and stands at roadside at 1700 West Lincolnway. An afternoon sun view looking east.
