Persona contraceptive kit. View of the urine test stick (foreground) used with the Persona contra- ceptive kit that enables women to determine when it is safe to have sexual intercourse. The test stick determines hormone levels in a woman's urine. Certain hormone levels are highest around the time of ovulation. This is the time that the risk of pregnancy is at its highest. The white window in the test stick will register when urine has been tested. The green light in the kit (as seen) then indicates that it is safe to have sexual intercourse without fear of pregnancy. A red light would indicate that it was not safe. This kit could also aid couples planning a family.
