Jeremy Kirsch Artist bio Jeremy Kirsch has been fascinated by all things creative since he could walk and talk, and has worked professionally in the arts and entertainment industry since the age of 14. With interests and aspirations covering a wide spectrum -- from graphic design to music, and film making to themed attraction development -- Jeremy has been involved in a large variety of creative endeavors over the years, with his favorite projects often being those that tend to defy easy categorization. About the work Title: Glitter Girl Art form: 3-D Medium: sequins, pins, ABS plastic Year created: 2010 Description of work: 'Glitter Girl' is, I believe, the world's first photographic sequin mosaic. It is comprised of 50,625 independently-mounted sequins, which move and sparkle when they catch the light. When seen from a distance, the sequins act as "pixels" and form a photographic image. My goal in creating this piece was to invent a new display method that had not been seen before; something that would literally bring an image "to life."
