Elegant, graceful foliage and masses of rosy-purple flowers; 3 feet. — Album. Pure white flowers. Qlaucum. A pretty and distinct species, with large flowers of a charming shade of lilac mauve, which is brightened by a bunch of lemon- yellow stamens and anthers. The plant is of strong growth, about 4 feet high; the flowers are produced in large, graceful panicles during . and September. 75 cts. each. Orientalis. One of the best; grows 2 feet high, with finely-cut glancous- blue foliage and branching heads of pure white flowers. This is not a new variety, but a difficult one to propagate, and is seldom offered. 50 cts. each.
