17th Century players of Trictrac, a variant of backgammon, very popular during the 17th and 18th centuries in aristocratic circles of France. It's a two-player reasoned game that is played with dice on a deck similar to that of backgammon. The playful interest lies in the many combinations, in the importance of decision-making and in his very successful rules. It requires constant attention from players whether or not it is their turn to play.
