African male lion (Panthera leo) aggressively snarling at the photographer. This male was closely following a lioness and mating with her. At one point she rejected his advances on a few occasions and he showed his frustration. Photographed in the Auob riverbed of the Kgalagadi transfrontier park, Southern Africa.
