Ancient Oak tree with massive gnarled trunk in Bradgate Park, Cropston, Leicestershire. Bradgate Park is open to the public all year round and, with its network of footpaths and tracks, is a popular venue for walkers, joggers and cyclists. The park also contains the ruins of Bradgate House (also known as Lady Jane Grey's House), a stone hilltop folly known as "Old John", herds of resident deer and the "Deer Barn" cafe.
