Three-quarters front view of David Gandy's restored 1954, Jaguar XK120, on display at the 2020 London Classic Car Show

The restored 1954 Jaguar XK120 belonging to British male model and life-long Jaguar enthusiast David Gandy was an exciting addition to the car stories line-up, and visitors were delighted with a surprise visit by the owner himself. Gandy, who popped in to the show joined Chief Engineer Tim Leese to speak about the personal connection he has with the car. With 2,700 hours spent rebuilding the car, it’s been turned into a race-ready machine, with the in-line six-cylinder XK engine now delivering 225bhp. The design and finishing touches were specified by Gandy, featuring a solid black exterior while the interior is finished in Aged Saddle tan leather, with the seats featuring a bespoke lattice design.
