Hypericum perforatum, also known as Tipton's weed, rosin rose, goatweed, chase-devil, or Klamath weed

Perforate St John’s-wort or Common St John’s-wort is a medium tall, hairless grassland perennial. It has golden yellow flowers with black dots along the edge of the petals. The leaves when held up to the light show many translucent dots hence the common name of perforate St John’s-wort. Fagaras Mountains are the highest part of Transylvanian Alps, reaching 8,346 feet (2544 m) with their Moldoveanu peak. Their steep northern face rises above 8,000 feet (2,450 m) and overlooks the Fagaras Depression, through which flows the Olt River over a gentler gradient south to the Carpathian foothills. The mountains are heavily glaciated, with lakes, fretted peaks, and morainic deposits.
