Eco friendly cruise ship, Mein Schiff 3, owned by Tui Cruises, makes its first visit of the winter cruising season to Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria. The new 15 decked eco friendly cruise ship which made its maiden voyage from Hamburg to Majorca in June 2014. A combined exhaust after-treatment system is fitted to reduce sulphur emissions by 99%, fine dust and soot emissions by 60%, and nitrogen oxide by 75%
