Reclaimed industrial land in Consett County Durham
A tranquil summer evening at the ponds near Berry Edge, between Consett and Shotley Bridge, on former industrial land on the site of the Consett steelworks which was closed down in the 1980's. The area has been undergoing redevelopment via an organisation called Project Genesis and includes a mix of retail, residential and recreational sites.
