This male lion image has a tight square crop format and a black and white conversion with original eye colour color showing through to give a high contrast image with striking eye contact with viewer. This image has been recently treated with topaz denoise to reduce some noise levels. A black and white image can be nice with grain but as the eyes are coloured colored they needed to be cleaner and now it is in my opinion a fantastic image and a favourite one of mine.
