High mobility artillery rocket system
Marines from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct firing training on a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) at RAF Mildenhall on the 26th of March 2021. HIMARS is a multiple rocket launcher with a range of up to 400 kilometres and has a speed of 85 kilometres per hour. HIMARS can carry six Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) rockets or one MGM-140 Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) missile.
