The battle of Grunwald was between the Polish and Lithuanian Army and the Teutonic/ Prussian Knights in which the Polish alliance was victorious The Battle was the biggest ever in Europe it was built for the 500th anniversary of the battle. It was destroyed by the Nazis and only rebuilt in the 1976
