The magnificent baroque Fuente del Rey, King's Fountain, is a national monument. Dating from the 16th century, it got it's current form in 1803 with the design of sculptor Remigio del Mármol. Neptune and his wife Amphtitrite, riding on a chariot pulled by horses, are in the middle of the mid level basin. At the end the waters of the fountain flow into the wide open greedy mouth of the Clergy. Location: Calle Fuente del Rey / Calle Río, Priego de Córdoba, Andalusia, Spain.
