High quality scanned image from a 16th century book: Portolan atlas of 9 charts and a world map, etc. Dedicated to Hieronymus Ruffault, Abbot of St. Vaast. (Agnese, Battista). These maps and images are scanned at high resolution and then edited and enhanced for best presentation for many uses. There might be some discrepancy in color due to the editing process. Some flaws in the original will have been repaired digitally.
