Green lagoon in El Golfo Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain
El Golfo is located to the South of Lanzarote and is still very much a fishing village. The main attraction here is the Green Lagoon. It is an isolated water lake with a strong green colour that is given by the bacterias and weed living there. You are able to view this from 2 positions, normally you will be taken to view the lagoon from a higher view point which enables you to see everything more clearly. Right next to the lagoon is the village.
