It'blossoms about the same time as Red Clover, making it, on that account, a desirable mixture with that plant. It is exceedingly palatable to stock of all kinds, and its powers of enduring the cropping of cattle commend it as one of the verv best pasture grasses. Sow 45 lbs. to the acre. Weight 14 lbs. to the bushel 15c lb., $ for 10 lbs. Red Top Grass (Agrostis Vulgaris. Herd's Grass, Bent Grass, Creeping Bent Grass, Quick Grass). Perennial, height 1 to 2 feet. Valuable either for lawn mixtures, mixing in hay, or permanent pasture grasses; is common "throughout the country; succeeds almost everywhere, but reaches its highest state of perfection in a moist, rich soil, in which it attains a height of 2 to 'iy2 feet. Sow, if alone. 45 lbs. per acre. Weight. 14 lbs. lb., 80c for 10 lbs., § per 100lbs. Fancy Pure Seed.
