Recruits from Echo Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, hold up their money valuable bags during receiving at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Nov. 14. Recruits are required to place any valuable items such as credit cards, driver’s licenses, or cash into the bag during training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Echo Company is scheduled to graduate Feb. 10.
