Sculpture of man and woman entwined inside ring on Bridge Vigeland Park Oslo Norway
The Sculpture Park contains 192 sculptures with more than 600 figures all modeled in full size by Gustav Vigeland without the assistance of pupils or other artists during a period that began in 1907 and ended with his death in 1943 Vigeland also designed the architectural setting and the layout of the grounds On either side of the bridge are 58 bronze sculptures on granite parapets that portray people of widely differing ages and in different combinations
