A new round of public Preview Tours of Spaceport America got underway May 13. Organized and guided by Follow the Sun, Inc., the three-hour weekend tours of the world's first commercial spaceport visit both simple launch sites used by private aerospace companies (above) and the complex and futuristic Terminal and Hangar from which Virgin Galactic will launch commercial space flights sometime in 2012. The Spaceport occupies a 27-square-mile site near Truth or Consequences, NM.
