May 20th 1947. Terence John Peter Rolt being escorted by detectives after the hearing at Marlborough Street Magistrates Court, London, in to the murder of Alec de Antiques outside a jeweller's shop off Charlotte Street in London. Rolt, together with Charles Henry Jenkins, 23, and Christopher James Geraghty, 20, were charged with the murder. Jenkins and Geraghty were both hanged at Pentonville Prison on 19th September 1947. Rolt was sent to prison, and was released in June 1956.
