The newly restored Grade I-listed Temperate House at Kew gardens Newly reopened in May 2018 ,after a £41m, five-year renovation, The Temperate House at Kew Gardens in London ,has reopened to visitors . Originally designed by Victorian architect Decimus Burton in Temperate House is home to over 10,000 plants of about 1,500 species some of which are now extinct in the wild .
