Over a million Uyghur people, from the Uyghur homeland of China are still being detained in concentration camps since 2017. China denies any form of ethnic cleansing or political indoctrination. The Uyghur have experience family separation, human experimentation, torture and recent reports of female sterilization. The Uyghur are also forced to produce fabrics and garments for the fashion industry. 84% of China’s cotton production comes from the Uyghur region.
