Andrei Gasparovich Berzin (1893 - 1951); Soviet politician. He worked as deputy head of the administrative and financial department of the People's Commissariat of Agriculture. In 1930, he was arrested in the case of the so-called Labour Peasant Party. In 1931 he was exiled to Kazakhstan . He worked as an economist-planner at Soyuzpromkorm. In 1938, Berzin was arrested again. He remained in exile until the end of the Great patriotic war, and then returned to Moscow.
